The field Tag present in the record of the artwork allows you to create a series of labels with which enrich of details and group your works. More generally speaking Tags are also defined as “Labels”, composed of one or more elements that can be added as keywords to the single artwork or to a selection of works (see management of Tag bulk).
Tags are a very important tool in Artshell and for this reason we invite you to exploit their potential.
To add a Tag to the record of an artwork it is sufficient to activate the edit mode and type the keyword to be added in the field Tag. By starting to type the system will suggest you words already in use in the other fields of the record of the work. If the keyword you wish to add is already present among those suggested, it will be sufficient to select it with your mouse or with the arrows on your keyboard. Alternatively, once the word is written, you can press ENTER from the keyboard to add the keyword to the system and in particular to your Artworks section.
The system of Tag suggestion gives you hints about all the words, same or similar to the one you are typing, that are already in use in other artworks tabs. This system allows you to avoid creating different words with the same meaning. We then invite you to define a shared and internal logic to apply to your collection when using Tags.
Should you encounter any trouble setting up or using the Tags, or should any error pop up, we kindly ask you to write us at support@artshell.eu by providing us your information, the name of your account, the problem your are experiencing or the request for help. We ask you to be as detailed and specific as possible (you can also send us screenshots) with regards to the issue you are facing or the request for help, so to help our support department to be able to identify and solve the problem in the fastest wa
