In the section File of the record of the artist, by clicking on the + button to the right of the search bar it is possible to open the media library of your Artshell account, namely the place where all the images, the videos, and the files uploaded on the program are stored.
As you can see, the media library presents above the search bar 3 TABS:
- images: where you can upload images
- videos: where you can upload videos
- Files: where you can upload files
To add a new attached file it is sufficient to select the File Tab on top, drag the file and drop it in the Media library area; otherwise it is possible to click on + to the right of the search bar, select the file you wish to upload and proceed with the upload.
Note: we remind you that it is possible to upload in both ways more than one file at a time.
Before beginning with the upload of the file the system will present you a tab for each file that you wish to upload, where it is possible to write in two languages (Italian and English): the name of the file, a description, and some notes.
We invite you to fill in the information in the various fields so to keep your media library as clear and precise as possible, so to avoid uploading contents more than once because you cannot find the image you needed even thought you had previously already uploaded it.
In case you selected more images to upload at once and among these there was one picture that you actually did not wish to upload, you may use the command “skip” (the arrow on the top right hand side close to the X to close the window) in order to drop the upload of that very image.
Once the File tab that you wish to upload is filled in, by clicking on the button on the top left side, you start the uploading process and the system will start upload it on the media library.
You can check how much has already been uploaded by checking the green bar.
We remind you that the uploading process of a file may require some time in case the file was very heavy or in case your internet connection was not very fast.
Once you file has been uploaded on the media library you can add it to the section File of the artist record by clicking on it and using the button add, to the top left hand side. If instead you wish to add more files at once, you have to select them by using the symbol on the right of the search bar next to the + button, and add them with the black add button on the top left.
Should you encounter any trouble using the media library or should any error pop up, we kindly ask you to write us at support@artshell.eu by providing us your information, the name of your account, the problem your are experiencing or the request for help. We ask you to be as detailed and specific as possible (you can also send us screenshots) with regards to the issue you are facing or the request for help, so to help our support department to be able to identify and solve the problem in the fastest way.
