The media library is the area of Artshell where you can upload your media: images, videos, and files, link them to the different tabs of the Artworks, Events, Contacts, and Artists, or include them in the documents, in the emails, or in the insights. You can share via link every element uploaded in the Media library and add a description to refine the research.
From the media library is always possible to download the original file.
The Images section of the media library of Artshell has been designed to allow you to upload whatever sort of image: TIFF, JPG, PNG, GIF, etc., of any dimension up to 1GB. The system after having saved the original file will automatically convert it to a JPG at 72dpi, meaning the best resolution for web contents.
This feature allows you to always have your archive of high resolution images with you and to save a lot of time with the conversion process of the images for the web.
The Video section instead has been thought to allow you to upload directly on the program the videos whose dimension are up to 25GB, while it is possible to link limitless videos both from Vimeo and Youtube. Your video section, just as for images, allows you to upload whichever video format, and the system will then convert it in HVEC format with a maximum resolution of 1080 optimized for the web streaming.
Lastly, the File section allows you to upload your attachments. The File section supports any kind of file and it has no limits for the upload.
We remind you that Artshell offers endless storage space for your images, while it is limited to 25gb for the videos that you wish to upload directly on Artshell. We remind you also that the uploading process of a new image, just as for a video or an attachment, it could need some time should the original element be very heavy, or in case your internet connection was not very fast.
