As you can see, the media library presents above its search bar three TABS:
- images: here it is possible to upload images
- videos: here it is possible to upload videos
- files: here it is possible to upload files
To add a new attached file it is sufficient to select the File TAB on top, drag the file and drop it on the area of the media library, or otherwise it is possible to click on the + button on the right hand side of the search bar, select the file that you want to upload and proceed.
Note: We remind you that it is possible to upload more than a file at a time in both cases.
Before starting with uploading the files, the system will present you with a tab for each file you wish to upload in which it is possible to write in two languages (Italian and English): the name of the file, a description, and some notes.
We invite you to fill in the information in the various fields so to keep your media library as clear and precise as possible, so to avoid uploading contents more than once because you cannot find the image you needed even thought you had previously already uploaded it.
In case you selected more files to upload at once and among these there was one file that you actually do not wish to upload, you may use the command “skip” (the arrow on the top right hand side close to the X to close the window) in order to drop the upload of that very file.
Once the tab of the file has been filled in, by clicking on the button upload on the top left hand side of the window, the uploading process will start.
You can track the progress of the uploading process by checking the green bar.
We remind you that the uploading process of a file may require some time in case the file was very heavy or in case your internet connection was not very fast.
Once the file is uploaded onto the media library you can add it to the Attachments section of the different tabs, or attach it to your emails and newsletters, or within the insights or in the document sections: it will be enough to open the media library and from there add the file or the selection of files.
