In the File tab of the contact it is possible to add a description for each of the files. By clicking on the single file you access the File tab where it is possible to insert the description of the file, both in Italian and English, besides notes.
Attention: The description and the file notes that you have saved during the upload on the media library can be overwritten in this section without affecting the details of the file within the media library.
Besides the details and the file description of the file in the tab it is possible to manage the state of “lock” and “unlock” of the file. The feature identified by the closed or open lock highlights to the system which elements you want to keep private and which ones to keep more easily shareable during export and sharing.
Artshell allows in fact, during export and sharing phases, to decide which elements to share per single contact. To simplify and quicken the process of selection, the system pre-selects the documents of every category with open lock, leaving the user the chance to select the documents with closed lock.
We then suggest you to manage the state of a lock, on the events files, by choosing which files you wish to keep private in your archive (those you seldom share) and which you wish to share every time you export or share the record of a contact.
From the File tab, by using the menu identified by the three dots, it is possible to remove the attached file from the File section of the contact, share the file via link, or rather download on your computer the original element uploaded on the media library.
Attention: Removing an attachment from the File tab of your contact does not mean to delete it. The function to delete a media is available only from the media library, by using the menu identified by the three dots in correspondence of the media you wish to delete.
