Artshell allows you to organize the artists within an endless number of Lists. The Artists Lists can be created, deleted, organized, and sorted according to your preferences.
Within the Artists section, by clicking on Artists on the top left of the screen a List panel will pop up, and there you find all the Lists of artists with a counter that indicates the number of artists per each List.
To access a List it is sufficient to click on the name, and the content of the Artists section will be replaced by the content of the List, and you will see the name of the List appearing and its counter on the top left of the screen, in place of “Artists”.
On the top part of the Lists panel on green background you may see a button to go back to the general list of all the Artists.
Within the lists panel it is possible to sort the Lists by ordering as you wish by simply dragging on the left of each list and dropping it upwards or downwards.
It is possible to rename a List from the menu that pops up when you click on the three dots symbol on the right side of each List. By clicking on Rename, a cursor in correspondence of the name of the List will appear, and, after having edited the name of the List, in order to confirm and save changes, it is sufficient to press ENTER on your keyboard.
From the menu that appears when clicking on the three dots on the right side of each list it is also possible to Delete a list. We remind you that deleting a list DOES NOT imply deleting the artists belonging to it, but instead simply deleting the list as an object.
We remind you furthermore that deleting a list is an irreversible operation.
Creating and editing a list
To create a list it is first necessary to select the elements you wish to add to the list.
From the Artists section you select the artists you wish to add or remove from a list, and you have to click on the export symbol, and then select the Lists mode from the Export Panel.
The system will open a second panel to manage the List, and from there it is possible to:
- Create a new List: by using the + button on the right side of the search bar, it is possible to create a new List. The system will ask you to set a name for the new List and to confirm it by clicking on the "black" create button on the right.
- Add elements to a List: in correspondence with the name of each List on the right you may find the + button that allows you to add the selected artists to the List. After having clicked on it, you will see the counter of the artists present in the List increasing. It is possible to add the same selection of artists to multiple Lists at once; the system will automatically add to the Lists only the artists that are not yet present.
- Remove elements from a list: in correspondence with the name of each list, on the right, you may find an X symbol that allows you to remove the selected artists from the list. After having clicked on it, you will see the counter of the artists that are part of the list decreasing. It is possible to remove the same selection of artists from multiple list at once.
