Configure the Network Profile

Introduction

The Network profile serves as a digital business card for your account. For this reason, it’s important to fill it out with clear and up-to-date information: a brief description of your business, your areas of interest, your locations, profile and background images, your Contacts , if applicable, the artists you represent.

The profile description can be used to briefly describe your business. We recommend that you keep it under 1,440 characters to ensure the text remains readable and suitable for online viewing.

Access Network Settings

To set up your Network profile, go to the Settings panel by clicking the icon at the bottom left of the Artshell desk.

From the Settings menu, select Network.

In the Network section, you'll find several configuration areas, including:

  • Status and Settings
  • Network Profile
  • Contact Information
  • Artists Represented.

Enable the Network profile

In the Status and Settings section, you can enable your profile within the Network. To activate the profile, toggle the " Network Profile" switch.

Before you can complete the activation process, make sure you've entered at least the required basic information: avatar image, background image, and profile description.

These elements are necessary for the profile to be displayed correctly within the Network.

Public or private profile

In the settings, you can choose whether to make your profile public or private.

A public profile is open and visible to all users on the Network. A private profile, on the other hand, is visible only to the followers you have accepted.

The choice depends on the type of presence you want to have on the Network: if you want to make your content easier to access, you can use a public profile; if, on the other hand, you prefer to limit visibility to a select group of users, you can set it to private.

Profile Information

Profile Title and Description

In the " Network Profile " section, you can customize the main text on your profile.

The " Profile Title " field allows you to enter a title, a brief description, or a slogan. We recommend that you keep it under 120 characters to ensure the text remains clear and easy to read.

The " Profile Description " field allows you to enter a more detailed description of your profile. We recommend that you do not exceed 1,440 characters.

You can enter text in multiple languages using the language selector in the upper-right corner—for example, to add an Italian version and an English version of your profile.

Avatar and logo images

Your avatar is the image that identifies your profile within the Network.

It appears as a small circular icon next to your name and may also appear at the bottom records Artworks, Events, and Insights shared on a channel or on your profile.

For best results, we recommend uploading a PNG file that fits within a 150 × 150 px square.

Background image

The background image appears at the top of your Network profile page.

To optimize the display on Retina devices and high-resolution screens, we recommend uploading a high-quality image that is at least 1920 px wide.

Choose an image that aligns with your account's identity, keeping in mind that it may be displayed on different devices and in different formats.
