Delete an artwork
Introduction
If you want to remove a piece from your collection, you can delete it directly from the Artworkssection.
Artshell allows you to delete a single record multiple Artworks , simplifying database management when you need to remove content that is no longer useful.
In this guide, you'll learn how to delete one or more Artworks what to check before confirming the action.
Before You Begin
Before deleting a work, make sure you have selected the record and that you no longer need the associated information and content.
Please note: Deleting a work is irreversible. Artshell requires additional confirmation to reduce the risk of accidental deletions.
Delete a single work
- Go to the Artworks section.
- Select the work you want to delete.
- Click the icon to open the actions menu.
- Select the last option, Delete.
- A confirmation dialog box will appear. To permanently delete the work, click Delete. If you selected the work by mistake, click Cancel.

Delete More Artworks
- Go to the section Artworkssection.
- Click " Select."
- Select the Artworks want to delete.
- Click the icon from the menu Manage .
- Click the last option, " Delete."
- Confirm the action by clicking Delete in the confirmation dialog box.

What Happens to Linked Content
Deleting permanently removes the record from your archive.
Images and files are also available in the Medialibrary will remain available there, because removing them from record necessarily mean they have been permanently deleted from Medialibrary.
