Introduction
You can update the information in an record at any time—for example, to correct a piece of information, add new details, or record a change that has occurred over time.
In this guide, you'll learn how to open a record edit mode, update the fields, and save your changes.
Step 1: Open the record
- Go to the Artworks section.

When you edit a record , only the most recent value is displayed in these fields. To view, update, or edit the history, you must exit edit mode and use the dedicated function.
To learn how the History feature works and how to manage its values, see the article Manage the history of a project.
Step 3: Save your changes
When you're done, click Save.
The new information will be updated in the record .
Edit Multiple Artworks
If you need to update a large number of Artworks at the same time, you can use the Excel file import feature.
The ID, referred to in the file as the Artwork ID, allows Artshell to recognize records and update them without creating duplicates.
Read the article Import Artworks an Excel file.
