The via Network sharing mode allows you to share the selected artworks within the Artshell network, and in particular:
- in your personal profile (My Profile)
- within the channels you are invited to participate in
- directly to the contacts of your contact list
Once the artworks you wish to share are selected, by clicking on the Export symbol and by choosing the Share mode from the export panel, the system allows you to set the details for the images and documents of the chosen works you wish to share by selecting several fields, and in particular:
- Details: if selected, it allows you to export the caption of the work: artist, title, year, medium, dimensions, edition, and signature. We suggest you to keep this field selected.
- Price: if selected, it allows you to export the price of the selected works. In particular, the system will retrieve and show the price and the currency present in the different tabs of the chosen artworks. In case you wanted to, it is possible to customize each price for the selected artworks by clicking on the pencil icon in correspondence to the price you wish to edit and save the change to make it definitive.
Note: in order to remove the selection of the price field it is sufficient to use the switch at the right bottom side of the price management panel, next to the tag Show prices. By de-selecting and closing the switch, you will see the Price field de-selected. - External dimensions / Place / Artwork ID: if selected, each of these fields allows you to export from within the artwork tab the details related to external dimensions, the place where the artwork is located, or the Artworks ID, for every selected work.
- Media: if selected, it allows you to export the media for the selected works. In particular, once the field is selected the system will present you with a section where you can see and manage the media: images and videos you wish to share or export for each of the selected artworks. We remind you that in order to optimize the selection process of the media to export or share the system will pre-select the images and the videos with open lock.
Note: in order to remove the selection of the Media field it is sufficient to use the switch at the bottom right of the media management panel, next to the tag Show other media. By de-selecting and closing the switch, you will see the Media field de-selected. - Documents: if selected, it allows you to export the documents of the selected artworks. In particular, once the field is selected the system will present you with a section where you can see and manage all the documents for the selected artworks that you wish to share or export. We remind you that to optimize the selection process of the documents to export or share the system will pre-select the documents with open lock.
Note: in order to remove the selection of the Document field it is sufficient to use the switch at the bottom right of the document management panel, next to the tag Show documents. By de-selecting and closing the switch you will see the Media field de-selected. - State / Acquisition / Value / Rights / Collection / Conservation status / Property / Certification / Medium / Quantity / Packaging / Notes: if selected, any of these fields allows you to export within the artwork tab the relative details for the selected works.
Once the details and the images of the artworks you wish to share are set, by clicking on Continue it is possible to set the last details of the sharing flow and in particular:
- Send notification: if enabled, it allows you to send a via email notification to all the contacts with whom you may share the works within your network. We remind you that the notifications via email are enabled only for contacts or users pertaining your contacts list and they are not supported for sharing within your profile (My Profile) and within the channels you are invited to participate in.
- View on Wall mode: If enabled, this mode allows you to share the View on Wall feature for the chosen artworks and for all those ones for which it is set (see how to set the View on Wall mode).
- Language: this switch allows you to choose in which language you wish to export the tabs for the selected artworks. We suggest you to choose the language in which the contents were created.
Once you have again clicked on Continue the system will show you a recap of the selected works that you wish to share with a menu on top from which you can choose the recipient of your sharing. By clicking in correspondence to the tag Add a recipient, a drop down menu will appear and there you can indicate the recipient, and in particular:
- My profile: marked on a blue color chip My Profile is your account’s profile on the Artshell network, and it can be either public or private. By selecting your profile as recipient of the sharing activity, you add the content to your profile.
- Channels: marked on a rose chip with the network symbol, the channels appear exclusively if you are invited to post your content on another user or organization’s channel.
- All the contacts: marked on a green chip, this option allows you to share the selection of works with all members of your contact list.
- Tag: the possibility to select one or more tags as recipient of the sharing.
- Lists: the possibility to select one or more lists of contacts.
- Contact: the possibility to select one or more specific contacts, in particular, by selecting a contact the system will allow you to choose among potential different emails.
Lastly, once the recipient of your sharing is selected, by clicking on the Network symbol at the top right of the screen, you will share the selected works within the channel, in the profile or with some chosen contacts.
Should you encounter any trouble sharing via network a selection of works, or should any error pop up, we kindly ask you to reach us at support@artshell.eu, by specifying your information and the name of your account. We also ask you to provide as many details as possible (also through the use of screenshots) about the encountered problem or about the request for help, so to help our support department identifying and solving the matter as fast as possible.
