From the main screen of the preview app, one or more artworks can be selected via the Select button.
If you click on the Select button, a green button will appear, indicating that you are in the Select mode. To exit the Select mode, simply click on the black symbol with the X next to the counter of the number of selected items.
Artshell's Select mode allows you to select one or more artworks by simply clicking on the artwork. You will then see a black "tick" appear to the right of the artwork's image indicating that the artwork has been selected. As a result you will see the number in the selected artworks counter at the top increasing.
In the select mode you can manually select one or more artworks, either from the general list or by using the search bar to find and then select them.
Should you wish to select several artworks at the same time, such as all works by an artist or the result of a particular search, you can use the symbol with the two boxes and the tick to select all the artworks at once.
Once you have selected the artworks you are interested in, you can:
- Sort them: by clicking on the artworks counter, the system will show you only the artworks that you have selected and will allow you to sort them by dragging the individual artworks up or down. This feature, in addition to giving you an overview of your selection of artworks, will allow you to export the artworks in the order you wish.
- Export them: by clicking on the last symbol on the right of the menu bar in select mode (icon with up arrow) you can access the export panel, from which you can choose to export artworks by e-mail or by link similar to the Artworks section of your database.
