Introduction
The Email and Newsletter section provides you with all the necessary tools to design visually engaging and highly personalized communications. Thanks to the ability to include multiple sender addresses and segment your audience using tags and lists, you can create targeted messages and boost recipient engagement. This section automatically integrates with the Contacts section, ensuring a dynamic and always up-to-date address book
How to access the Email and Newsletter section:
In the left vertical menu, click the icon, and then select Email from the top horizontal menu.
Components of the Email and Newsletter Section
Below the main menu (Email / Insights / Exports), you’ll find 4 sections that help you organize your emails and simplify searches: All, Drafts, Scheduled, and Sent.

Sent / Draft / Sending in progress
Emails and newsletters are sorted by edit date. For each email in the list, the following information is displayed on the left:
- the email subject in bold
- a brief preview of the content
and on the right:
- if the email is a Draft: the status, the date, and the time of the last update.
- if the email has been sent: the date and time of sending.
Regarding the status of the email, please find more information below:
✓ | Single checkmark: appears on sent emails and indicates the number of contacts to whom the email was sent. |
✓✓ | Double gray checkmark: appears on sent emails and indicates the number of contacts who received your email. |
✓✓ | Double blue checkmark: appears on sent emails and indicates the number of contacts who opened/read your email. |
Draft | An email in draft status displays the date and time of modification, with the word Draft in orange below. |
Sending in progress: For a brief period after an email is sent, the status may display as Sending in progress. This status is temporary; if it persists for too long, we recommend refreshing the page. |

Click the X to close and exit the email. | |
Send: allows you to send the email to the entered recipients. | |

Send a test email: by selecting this icon, you can send an email test to one or more contacts. If the contact is not present in Artshell, click the + to add them. Test emails are not tracked in analytics. |
Save: Always make sure to save the changes you make to your email. Once saved, your email appears in the Emails section with a Draft status. |
