Introduction
The Duplicate feature in Artshell allows you to quickly create copies of one or more event cards, keeping and modifying the contents as needed.
This tool is particularly useful for speeding up the management of similar events, avoiding the need to manually re-enter information.
During the duplication process, you will find several switches (), which are buttons you can turn on or off to choose which elements to include in the copy.
Watch the explanatory video below:
How to duplicate an Event
- Select one or more events you wish to duplicate using the icon .
- From the Manage panel that appears on the right, select the second option Duplicate. If you do not see the Manage panel appear (for example, on smaller screen sizes) click the circled three dots icon at the top right.
-
Choose which information to keep in the copy, using the available sections:
-
• Event Data
Choose which fields of the card you want to include in the copy as well, such as Details, Tags, Lists, Links, etc.Note: Among the available fields you will also see the Lists field. This field allows you to include the duplicated event in the same lists, both manual and automatic, where the original event is found. In manual lists, the duplicated event is always added, while in automatic lists it is included only if it meets the list criteria. For example: if you activate the Lists switch but not the Tags one, and the automatic list was created based on specific tags, the duplicated event will not be added because it does not have the required tags and therefore does not meet the inclusion criteria. -
• Days and Times
Choose whether to include all activities in the duplicated event or only some. -
• Images and videos
Select which media contents to include. -
• Folders
Indicate which folders and attachments you want to be included in the duplicated event as well. -
• Files
Indicate which files you want to be included in the duplicated event as well.
-
Once the options are configured, click Duplicate at the bottom right. The system will create a copy of the card including the selected contents.
In the duplicated event card, the title will show the wording (Duplicate) to distinguish it from the original. You can edit or remove it at any time.
Conclusions
The Duplicate function is a practical tool to speed up event management. It allows you to create customised copies of cards, reducing entry times and ensuring greater consistency between contents.
