Introduction
Artshell provides two essential tools for organising and managing your events: Tags and Lists. This article explains how to create, add, or remove one or more tags from your events and how to organise them into lists.
Prerequisites
We recommend reading the following articles before getting started:
Create and manage Tags for events

Artshell also allows you to assign a tag to multiple events at once:

- Enter the desired tag in the input field and then click Create tag. Click Cancel to go back.
Note: The number in parentheses next to each tag indicates how many events are associated with that tag. - Click the Add button at the bottom right to apply the tag to the selected events.

Create and manage Lists for events
With Artshell, you can organise and group events into an unlimited number of lists. As described in the introductory article Organising content: Tags and Lists, there are two types of lists: Manual and Automatic.
You can access all the lists created by clicking the section title at the top left.
Create lists
Click each box to expand the instructions:
- Select the events using the icon.
- In the Manage panel on the right, click Add to list. If the panel doesn’t appear (for example, due to a smaller screen), click the three-dot icon in the top right corner.
- Since the list you want to use doesn’t yet exist, click + Create list.
- Enter the list name in the designated field, then click Create list. Click Cancel to go back.
- Click the Add button at the bottom right to add the selected events to the newly created list.
For example, the list in the image above could be named: Free events by Anderson - tag 'free' + curated by 'Anderson'.
Manage lists
- Select the events using the icon.
- In the Manage panel on the right, click Add to list. If the panel does not appear (e.g., due to a small screen size), click the circled three-dots icon in the top right corner.
-
Use the search bar to find the list you want to add events to, then tick the box next to it.
Note: The number in parentheses next to each list indicates how many events are currently in that specific list. -
Click the Add button at the bottom right to add the events to the selected list.
- Select the events using the icon.
- In the Manage panel that appears on the right, click Remove from list. If the panel does not appear (e.g., due to a small screen size), click the circled three-dots icon in the top right corner.
-
Use the search bar to find the list from which you want to remove the events, then check the box next to the list to select it.
Note: The number in parentheses next to each list indicates how many events are currently in that specific list. -
Click the Remove button at the bottom right to remove the events from the selected list.
An event is automatically removed from an automatic list if it no longer meets the criteria defined when the list was created. Simply ensure the event no longer matches those requirements.
- Click the name of the Events section in the top left.
- Hover over a list to see the hand icon appear.
- Drag each list up or down to organise them in your preferred order.
