Introduction

Artshell is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform accessible via web browser (Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) or through the Artshell App, available in desktop versions (for both MAC OSX and WINDOWS operating systems) and mobile versions (for Apple iOS or Android).

The software is accessible from any internet-connected device. Whether you prefer using a computer, tablet, or smartphone, Artshell adapts to your needs, ensuring a simple and intuitive user experience.

This article explains how to create an Artshell account. The registration process is the same whether you choose to sign up via desktop or the app.

Create an account

Step 1: Sign up on Artshell for free

To register for an Artshell account, please visit https://app.artshell.eu/register. You can also sign up by going to the Artshell website at https://www.artshell.eu/ and clicking the Register option in the top right, or by downloading and launching the Mobile App.

Step 2: Complete the registration form

• Account Name: enter the name of your gallery, collection, or archive. You can change this name later.
• Email address: Enter a valid email address. This email address cannot be changed later. 
• Repeat email address.
• Password: enter a password with at least 8 characters, including at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one number, and one symbol (e.g., + ! > *).
• Coupon: enter a coupon code if you have received one.
• Review and accept the terms and conditions and the privacy policy. You cannot create an Artshell account without accepting these.

Once you have filled in all the fields, click Create Account.

Step 3: Check your email inbox

Once your account is created, access your email inbox to ensure you have received the following 3 emails:

1. Welcome from Artshell.
2. Account activation request.
3. Email address verification request.

The second and third emails are sent from the address no-reply@artshell.eu

Activate your account

The first confirmation email from Artshell contains an activation link. Click this link within 24 hours to prevent it from expiring.

Verify your email address

The second confirmation email from Artshell is to verify your email address and allow you to use it as the sender for communications from your Artshell account. Click the link within 24 hours to prevent it from expiring.

Log Out

To log out of your account in the web version, click the  icon in the bottom left corner. Scroll down and click the red Logout button.

Forgot Password

To recover your Artshell account password, follow the steps below. You can also use this password recovery guide to check if you have already created an Artshell account with the same email address.

1. Open the Login screen: https://app.artshell.eu/login
2. Click Forgot password.
3. Enter the email address you used during registration and click Reset password.
4. Enter the 6-digit code you received via email and set a new password. If you haven't received an email, click Resend.
5. Click Update Password to confirm the changes.

Conclusion

To ensure optimal Artshell performance, use a browser updated to the latest or second latest version. Keep in mind that if your operating system (desktop or mobile) restricts updates to the newest version, the application might not function correctly.
