Introduction
Artshell provides you with all the tools you need to create custom Insights tailored to your needs. Learn how to format text, insert images, add events, create buttons, and much more.
Potrai così After creating your Insight, click the icon to enter edit mode. Then, select the white area of the Insight and click on Insert text here. You’ll be able to:
Edit the text
Select the portion of text you wish to edit. A formatting menu will appear with various customization options.
Click on each icon to expand and learn more about the menu functionalities:
Text color
Choose the color for the selected text using the color picker or by entering a HEX code (es. #000000 for black).
Bold
Apply bold formatting to the selected text.
Italic
Apply italic formatting to the selected text.
Font
Choose your preferred font and customize its size and line spacing.
Text alignment
Align your text to the left, right, center, or justify it. You can also adjust indentation.
Add a link to text
Insert a hyperlink into the selected text by typing or pasting the URL into the provided field. Press ENTER on the keybord to confirm.
If you want to insert an email link, prefix the URL with mailto:
Insert multimedia content
To insert media, click anywhere in the white area: a secondary menu will appear at the bottom center of the page.
Click each icon to expand and explore its functionality:
Add element
Social network
Insert a social media box where your cursor is placed. It will appear in grey — click it to bring up the editing menu with these options:
- Position: align the box to the left, center, or right.
- Spacing: choose spacing between icons (10, 15, or 20px).
- Link: paste your social media URLs and press ENTER from the keyboard. You’ll see icons to delete, edit, or open the link in a new window. Leave fields blank for platforms you don’t use or don’t wish to display.
- Indentation: Choose whether to add indents.
Divider
Insert a divider line. Customize the color via the color picker or HEX code.
Button
Create a customizable button with text and an external link. The default appearance is a black rectangle. Click it to open the formatting menu:
- Button color: select a color using the picker or HEX code. You can also adjust the transparency.
- Borders: customize the color, transparency, and thickness of the borders.
- Shape: define the shape of the button (square to fully rounded corners). You can also manually set the border radius.
- Text color: choose the color for the button text.
- Text: choose the font, style, size, line spacing, and content of the button text.
- Size: set the button’s size by defining vertical and horizontal spacing.
- Position: align the button within the Insight (center, left, right, or with indentation).
- Link: add the URL to make the button clickable and redirect to an external page.
Add Artworks
View on wall
This option is available only if at least one artwork is set as View on Wall. To learn more, refer to the dedicated article.Artwork Grid, Artwork Pair, Single Artwork
These functions allow you to insert artworks already present in the Artworks section of Artshell.Step 1: Select the desired function
Click the preferred function to insert a gray preview. Then click the preview to open the formatting menu. The menu includes the icon and two indentation functions for layout customization.
Step 2: Add artworks
Click the icon to open the sidebar on the right. From here, you can search or select the artworks to insert into your Insight.
Step 3: Rearrange artworks (only for Grid and Pair)
Once you’ve selected the artworks, click the green bar to view only the chosen items and reorder them.

Step 4: Choose the content to include
Click the Add button, then choose:
- Which content to include (Price, Media, Documents — only those marked with an open lock — and other options).

The language for the content.

Whether to include View on Wall (make sure it’s enabled for at least one artwork).
Step 5: Finalize and arrange artworks
Click Continue to complete the artwork addition. Use indentation icons to adjust layout inside the Insight text.
Add events
You can insert events into your Insight. Select this option to view a gray preview ready to be customized:
- Click the preview to open the formatting menu.
- Click the icon to open the sidebar with all available events.
- Select the events you want to include and specify which details to display (Date, Media, Documents — only unlocked —, Artworks, etc.).
- Click Continue to insert the events.
If you want to change the order (only if you selected more than 2 events)
Click the green bar to view selected events and reorder them using the hand icon.

Add media
To enrich your Insight, you can upload the following via the corresponding icon: Files, Videos, Images.

Here’s how to add a video to your Insight.
In this example, a previously uploaded video was used. You can also insert a Vimeo or YouTube link by clicking the icon and pasting the video link in the Video Link field.
Images:
The process for uploading images is the same as for files and videos.
Add Complex Media
This option lets you add a content block consisting of an image, a text box, and an image slider.
Image and text:
Once you select this layout, click the gray preview to access the formatting menu. You can:

Customize the background color and transparency of the text.

Add an image, darken it, swap its position with the text, or fit it within the box.

Customize text color.

Set font, style, size, line spacing, and content.

Adjust text placement and overall box indentation.

Set the size of the box.

Image slider:
The slider allows you to create a slideshow (carousel) of images in your Insight. After selecting the slider, click the gray preview to open the formatting menu:
- Click the icon to upload images (max 20).
- Click the green counter to view selected images only and rearrange their order.
- Click Add to confirm your selection.
- Adjust indentation.

Use the last icon to choose between full-page single image or continuous view mode.
Edit style
From here, you can manage the overall style and layout of your Insight.
